How We Are Paid

Savings, Investment & Pensions Advice

At ad+ financial we have elected to provide independent financial planning advice and implementation services for clients on a fee basis (with any commission payable to us either being reinvested to enhance the investment arranged, or offset against our fee).

Not all firms charge for their services in the same way, and we believe that by adopting this approach, our clients can be sure that our advice is truly independent and without commission bias.

We offer an initial discussion (without charge or obligation) when we will describe our service more fully. We will also notify you in writing before we carry out any chargeable work, explaining how it will be calculated.

Mortgage Advice

We offer independent mortgage advice from the whole market, for this service we charge a fee, typically £500, however any commission we receive from the lender (typically 0.250% of the loan amount) will be offset against our fee, thereby ensuring that our advice is truly independent and without commission bias.

Our independent mortgage service can range from full advice and recommendation (which includes the administration of all associated paperwork) to a research only facility ideally suited for people who value independent ‘whole of market’ research and guidance (but still prefer to do it themselves).

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Protection Advice & Insurance Services

We can also charge a fee for this service, but as we are frequently remunerated in the form of commission by the provider any commission will be used to offset the agreed fee.
